  1. Enter Contact Details

To register on Flipkart Seller Hub, go to “www.seller.flipkart.com” and click on the “Start Selling” button. Enter your phone number and you will receive an OTP. Use the code to complete the mobile verification. Then, proceed with entering your email address.

2. Enter GSTIN or PAN

Right below the contact details section, you will see the question, “What are you looking to sell on Flipkart?” You are provided with two options — “All Categories” and “Only Books”. Select the appropriate option as per your needs. If you choose the former, you must enter and verify your GSTIN. On the other hand, selecting the latter would require PAN verification. After entering this information, click on the “Register & Continue” button.

3. Create a Password

The next and one of the most critical steps of this online selling guide is creating a strong password of at least eight characters. It should include an uppercase and a lowercase letter, along with a special character. Lastly, enter your full name and display name, and click on the “Continue” button. Now, you will be directed to a dashboard that displays the status of data that has been filled along with the ones that are pending. The next few steps of this online selling guide will help you fill in certain important information and complete your profile.

4. Verify Your Email Address

Just as you verified your mobile number, email verification is a quintessential step of this online selling guide. To do so, go to the onboarding dashboard. Here, you will see a button beside your email address. Upon clicking, you receive an email with a verification link. Simply click on it and your email will be verified within seconds.

5. Enter Your Signature

This is one of the most crucial steps in this online selling guide. Your e-signature is just as significant as your real one. Here, you will be provided with two options — “Draw” or “Create”. If you choose the former option, you will have to manually draw your signature on your phone or computer. It is ideal to use a mouse or stylus for this process. On the other hand, the latter requires you to simply enter your name, and an e-signature will be automatically created for you. Once you draw or create it, click on the “Add” button. Remember, your e-signature will be used in all your invoices, so choose accordingly

6. Enter Store and Pickup Details

The details about your store and pickup location need to be accurate to ensure a hassle-free process for the delivery executive. Note that the address and the PIN are essential pieces of information, as your products will be picked up from this location. You need to enter the name of the store and that of the owner. Then, come up with a concise and appealing description of your store and enter the pin code in which your shop is located. After that, provide the exact address of your store and click on the “Save” button.

7. Enter Bank Details

In this step of the online selling guide, you must provide information about the bank that is used for your business. Put in your bank account number and IFSC code. This information must be the same as the details provided in your GSTIN. Filling in this data ensures a prompt and secure payment cycle. It is a transparent process where the seller receives their money in a safe and timely manner.

8. Create a New Listing

The final step of this online selling guide is to create a new listing of one of your products. It is one of the most crucial stages of registration. It can factor into the buying decision of the shoppers.
